ABOUT COACH HARDEN
Stephanie’s journey began in 2001 while a student at Fort Valley State University where she had the opportunity to student-teach abroad at a camp in Landstuhl, Germany. This is where her passion for working with youth took root. She was recognized as Recreation Supervisor of the Year and in this she quickly became known for her catchy quotes and phrases that resonated with everyone she met.
Her dedication led her to Youth Challenge Academy as an Math Teacher, where she was honored as Teacher of the Year (both in 2009 and 2010). Her classroom management skills and her constant phrase, “Getcha mind right,” left a lasting impact on her students.
Stephanie’s career spans numerous residential care facilities for troubled youth and recreation centers in College Park, Macon, and Augusta, GA to name a few. She has created top programs for all youth and has been featured on local news for her beautification projects and drives to assist families and youth in need.
Currently, Stephanie is an educator and coach, influencing and motivating youth to reach their lifetime goals. Her love for helping youth become lifelong learners is her true passion and mission.
Join Stephanie on this incredible journey and remember, “We all have to lock in and at the end of the day, getcha mind right.”
